Shannon Catalano joins ILS as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of strategic finance leadership across public, private, venture-backed, and PE-owned companies. As a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) with extensive expertise in scaling finance functions, leading capital raises, and transforming financial systems, Shannon has consistently driven sustainable growth throughout her career.

Most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Finance at Aiwyn, Shannon led the company’s Series B financial diligence and built resilient, metrics-driven financial strategies during rapid growth phases. Her proven track record includes managing cross-functional planning, high-stakes board communications, and capital efficiency initiatives while maintaining operational excellence under pressure.

Shannon’s diverse experience spans hypergrowth SaaS companies like Rev.com, where she scaled accounting teams from 2 to 13 employees, and leadership roles at AppHub, Mitek Systems, and Lytx. She has successfully guided companies through acquisitions, debt raises, and complex system migrations while consistently reducing close times and improving forecasting accuracy. Her technical expertise includes revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounting process redesign, and AR & collections optimization.

Shannon earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Concordia University-Irvine.
